The last Friday before Ramadan

Red Friday

The last Friday before Ramadan: a day for Muslim-owned brands, with deals worth waiting for and Eid gift guides all year.

The next Red Friday

Friday, February 5, 2027

In 93 days

Red Friday is the last Friday before Ramadan. Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin on Monday, February 8, 2027, by the Fiqh Council of North America's calculated calendar (FCNA), so Red Friday falls on Friday, February 5, 2027.

Red Friday is set ahead by the calculated calendar, so brands can plan for it. Each masjid announces its own start of Ramadan, which may differ by a day.

FCNA publishes its calendar at fiqhcouncil.org; months it has not published yet are calculated the same way. Today is 24 Jumada al-Ula 1448 by the same calendar.

Questions people ask

When is Red Friday?
Red Friday is the last Friday before Ramadan. It is set ahead by the Fiqh Council of North America's calculated calendar (FCNA), so brands can plan for it. Each masjid announces its own start of Ramadan, which may differ by a day.
Who can be listed?
Muslim-owned brands. The owner applies with their Muslim Colors account and signs a statement that Muslims own at least 51 percent of the business and run it. Our team checks every brand before it shows, and may ask for proof.
Does a listing cost anything?
No. A listing and its deals are free. A brand may pay for a featured spot, which is always labeled as a paid placement where it shows.
Does paying change what you show?
No. Paying puts a brand or a deal in a featured box, labeled. It never changes our team's checks, never puts a brand in a gift guide, and never changes the order of any list.
What is a referral link?
Some deals link through a brand's referral program. If you buy through one, Muslim.Red may earn a commission from the brand. Every referral link is marked as one beside it.
Who stands behind a deal?
The brand. Each deal shows its terms, its days and its link, as the brand gave them and our team checked them. You buy from the brand on its own site, under its own terms.
What are the Eid gift guides?
Lists of gifts from listed brands, for Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and all year. Our team picks everything in them, with a note on each, and brands cannot pay to be in one.
