Who we are, and these terms

Muslim.Red is run by Muslim Red LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us about using Muslim.Red. Our Privacy Notice explains what we keep about you. Our Ticket Terms cover tickets, and our Refund Policy covers refunds.

When you first sign in, we ask you to agree to these terms, and we record the version you agreed to.

Your Muslim Colors account

You sign in to Muslim.Red with your Muslim Colors account, the one account that works on every Muslim.* site. The Muslim Colors account has its own Terms of Use, which cover making the account, keeping it safe, and deleting it. Muslim Colors accounts are for people 13 and over. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy tickets.

What Muslim.Red is

Muslim.Red is one site in seven sections: The Red Table, Red-Letter Days, The Red List, Muslim.Red Live, Red Friday, Red League and Red Screen. Reading Muslim.Red is free and needs no account. Some parts open later than others, and each says what it will hold until it opens.

The Red Table

  • The Red Table's ratings are the opinions of our own paid inspectors, who visit without saying who they are. A rating is from no dates to three dates: one date means go if you are near, two dates mean plan an evening, and three dates mean plan a trip. An editor reads every rating before it is published.
  • Ratings are never sold: nothing paid for changes a rating or its place in any list. Our inspectors pay full price and accept nothing for free, and a visit where anything was free never counts toward a rating. Anything sponsored beside The Red Table is labeled as sponsored, and never sits inside a rated list.
  • Muslim.Red does not certify any place's food. Each place shows its own halal source in its own words, with the certifier it names. Where a place has a Halal Community Council (HCC) status, its page shows it with this line: HCC status is set by the Halal Community Council, which shares common ownership with Muslim.Red. Paying for a featured spot on Muslim.Red never affects HCC status. Check with the place, and with its certifier, before relying on what it says.
  • Places' details, such as hours and features, come from named sources, each shown with its date. They can change without notice. If you see something wrong, tell us from the place's page.

Places and their owners

An owner can claim a place's page by sending proof that it is theirs. Our team decides each claim. Owners must keep what they tell us true. We may take down any page, or any part of one, that is wrong or breaks these terms.

Some place information comes from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Where we show it, we say so.

Events and tickets

Each event's organizer sells its tickets, runs the event, and is responsible for it. Muslim.Red lists events and sells tickets on the organizer's behalf, through the organizer's own Stripe account. Our Ticket Terms apply to every ticket, and you agree to them when you buy one.

Some events come to Muslim.Red from Muslim.Blue (a masjid's public programs and Eid prayers) and Muslim.Pink (public evenings), which Muslim.Red reads from their public pages and never changes. Those listings belong to the masjid or host that published them: registering, buying and any change happen there.

Muslim.Red Delivery

Muslim.Red Delivery lets you order from local restaurants, groceries, butchers, bakeries and shops that have signed an agreement with us and that our team approved, brought to you by independent drivers. Our Delivery Terms apply to every delivery order, with our Delivery Refunds, Restricted Goods and Certificate Policy. Vendors sign our Vendor Marketplace Agreement, and drivers our Independent Contractor Agreement.

What you post

When you send us anything, such as a report about a place, a review, a photo or a nomination for The Red List:

  • it must be true, and yours to share;
  • it must not harass anyone, name someone's private details, or break the law;
  • a photo must be your own, or one you have the right to share, and it is checked by our team before anyone else sees it;
  • a diner review on The Red Table must be about your own visit, in your own words, and it is read by our team before anyone else sees it; you may not review a place you manage on Muslim.Red, and our inspectors write no diner reviews; our team may take a review down later, and keeps the reason.

For anything of yours that we show, such as a review or a photo, you give us a license, free of charge and not exclusive, to show, copy, resize and quote it on Muslim.Red and in promoting Muslim.Red elsewhere, such as on social media and in ads, with the name it is shown under, for as long as it is up.

The Red List

Anyone 18 or older with a Muslim Colors account may nominate someone for The Red List while nominations are open, up to ten people a year. When you nominate someone, you confirm that what you wrote is true and shares nobody's private details. Our team reads every nomination before it goes to the panel, and may turn one down with a reason you can read. An independent panel decides the list: nobody who runs Muslim.Red sits on it, and each panelist declares any conflict of interest and never scores someone they have a conflict with. A nominee is chosen only when more than half of the panelists without a conflict with them have scored them and vote to choose them; no one panelist decides. The list comes out each January, never before January 1 of its year. You must be 18 or older to nominate someone, and only people 18 or older can be nominated. A nomination does not mean a place on the list, and a place on the list is never for sale.

Red Friday

  • Red Friday is the last Friday before Ramadan, set ahead by the Fiqh Council of North America's calculated calendar so brands can plan for it. Each masjid announces its own start of Ramadan.
  • A brand shows in Red Friday only after its owner signs a statement that it is Muslim-owned and our team has checked it. We keep the statement in the exact words and version the owner agreed to. The owner must keep it true, and tell us if the ownership changes. We may take down a brand, with its deals, that is not true or breaks these terms.
  • Each deal shows its terms, its days and its link as the brand gave them, and only after our team has checked it. You buy from the brand, on its own site and under its own terms.
  • Our team picks everything in the Eid gift guides. Brands cannot pay to be in one.

Muslim.Red is not a party to any sale made through Red Friday and makes no promise about a brand's products or deals. If a brand does not honor a deal, tell us from the deal or the brand's page on Red Friday, or at support@muslim.red. Our team may then take the brand down, with its deals. A report does not oblige us to act, or to settle anything between you and the brand.

Red League

  • Each league on Red League runs itself on our tools: the people who run it set its seasons, divisions, rules, schedule and fees, and are responsible for its games.
  • A team's registration fee is paid to the league's organizer, through its own Stripe account. Muslim.Red's fee is added to it, and both are shown with the total before you pay. When you pay, you agree to the season's rules and its refund policy for the team, and we record which version of these terms you agreed to. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • A player joins a roster only with their own consent, or a parent's or guardian's for a player under 18. A team's manager adds only players who want to play, with true details.
  • Games are played on courts and fields listed on Muslim.Red, and a court, a team or an official is never booked for two games at once.
  • Standings are worked out from the final scores the league records, with the season's tie-break rules shown on each division's page. A league may correct a score, and its standings change with it.

Promoted events on Red-Letter Days are paid for by their organizers or placed there by Muslim.Red, and are labeled "Promoted" wherever Red-Letter Days shows them. Paying never changes the event, its price or Muslim.Red's fee, and the Eid prayer finder never shows anything paid for. A promotion shows only while its event is listed on Muslim.Red. If the event is canceled, or Muslim.Red ends a promotion before its last day, the promotion stops, and Muslim.Red refunds the organizer the share of what it paid for the time the promotion had left. Featured spots in Red Friday are paid for by brands, are labeled "Featured: paid placement" in Red Friday's featured boxes, and their links are marked as sponsored. Wherever else Red Friday lists a brand or deal while its spot runs, it says it has a paid featured spot and that its place in that list is not paid for. Paying for a featured spot never changes our team's checks, never puts a brand in a gift guide, and never changes the order of any list. The price of a featured spot is agreed with our team and given on its invoice before the spot runs, and the brand's own Red Friday page shows each of its spots with what was paid. If Muslim.Red ends a featured spot before its last day, or takes its brand or deal down for a reason other than the brand's own breach of these terms, the spot stops, and Muslim.Red refunds the brand the share of what it paid for the time the spot had left. A brand that withdraws its listing or the deal itself, or that our team takes down for a false ownership statement or another breach of these terms, is not refunded for the time its spot had left. Sponsors of live moments on Muslim.Red Live are labeled "Sponsored" wherever they show, with who paid, and their links are marked as sponsored. Moon reports are never sponsored. Some deals in Red Friday link through a brand's referral program, and Muslim.Red may earn a commission when you buy through one. Each referral link is marked as sponsored and disclosed in plain words beside it. Red Screen runs no ads, and kids' programming on it never carries a sponsor. A sponsor of a Red Screen title, or of Red Screen's own page, is labeled "Sponsored" wherever it shows, with who paid, and its link is marked as sponsored.

Red Screen

Red Screen is Muslim.Red's films, shows and kids' programming, with Red Screen originals that Muslim.Red makes and owns. Most titles are for Red Screen members; a title marked "Free to watch" plays for anyone.

  • Red Screen is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, paid on Stripe's secure page to Muslim.Red, with sales tax added where it applies. Red Screen starts once Stripe confirms your payment.
  • It renews for the same length, a month or a year, at the end of each period until you cancel. Before you subscribe, you check a box to agree to this section.
  • You can cancel at any time with one button on your account page. Red Screen then stops renewing, you keep watching until the end of the time you paid for, and nothing more is charged. Until that day, you can turn renewal back on.
  • When your Muslim Colors account is deleted, Red Screen is canceled at once.
  • Every title plays under a license: Muslim.Red's own for originals, a license with its own dates for someone else's work, or the public domain. When a title's license ends, the title stops playing. What is on Red Screen changes over time, and a subscription does not promise that any one title stays.
  • A kids profile, on the device that uses it, shows and plays kids' programming only, whoever is signed in there. Only your account can leave it, and leaving asks for your PIN when you have set one. A kids profile helps; it does not replace a parent's eye.
  • Red Screen is for personal viewing by you and your household. Please do not copy, download or record it, share your sign-in, or show it in public or for money.

Refunds for Red Screen are in our Refund Policy.

Before you subscribe, the plans page shows each plan's price, that it renews until you cancel, and how to cancel, beside the box you check and the button you press. After you subscribe, we email you a confirmation with these terms and how to cancel. About 30 days before each yearly renewal, we email you a reminder with its date and price. Where a state's law asks for a notice of its own, we give it.

Our content

Muslim.Red's words, ratings, designs and originals belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may share links to any page. Please do not copy our ratings or lists in bulk.

Ending

You can stop using Muslim.Red at any time. When your Muslim Colors account is deleted, Muslim.Red is told by the account itself and removes your account here. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety says not to.

Disclaimers and limits

Muslim.Red is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Disputes and the law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming. If you live in another state, you keep every protection its law gives you that an agreement cannot take away.

New Jersey. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a New Jersey consumer under the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (N.J.S.A. 56:12-14 to 56:12-18).

Settling it directly first

Before either of us starts an arbitration, the side with the claim must first write to the other with its name, how to reach it, what happened and what it asks for. We then both try in good faith to settle it for 60 days. Write to us at support@muslim.red, or by mail to the address under Contact us below. Any deadline for bringing the claim is paused during those 60 days.

Arbitration, one case at a time

If we cannot settle it, any dispute between you and us about Muslim.Red or these terms is decided in binding arbitration by a neutral arbitrator, not by a judge or jury, under the Federal Arbitration Act and the consumer arbitration rules of a national arbitration provider. The provider's consumer rules say who pays its fees.

  • One case at a time. You and we each bring claims only for ourselves, never as a plaintiff or a member of a class, collective or representative action, and an arbitrator may not combine different people's claims unless both sides agree.
  • Many similar claims at once. If many similar claims are brought against us, or by us, at about the same time, by the same lawyers or in coordination, they are heard in batches under the provider's rules for mass filings.
  • Small claims court. Either of us may instead take a claim to small claims court, if it qualifies there and stays there, for that person alone.
  • Your right to opt out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days after you first agree to these terms. Write to us at legal@muslim.red, or by mail to the address under Contact us below, with your name, the email address of your Muslim Colors account and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out changes nothing else in these terms.
  • Courts. A claim that is opted out of arbitration, or that arbitration cannot hear, goes to the state courts of Darlington County, South Carolina, or the federal court in Florence, South Carolina, unless the law of the state where you live requires that it be heard in that state's own courts. A small claims case is heard wherever a small claims court will hear it.

Changes to these terms

Every version of these terms is listed at the end of this page, with what changed. When a change matters, we ask you to agree again the next time you sign in.

VersionDateWhat changed
0.1October 25, 2026First draft for attorney review. 0.1, revised: the company's name, mailing address and mailbox are filled in. 0.1, revised 2026-10-29: the restaurant section is now called The Red Table. Revised again (2026-10-30): the open choices are settled: who may buy tickets, the license for what you post, Red Friday deals, Red Screen's renewal notices, and the sections on warranties, liability, the law that applies and arbitration. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase L built it, so the terms now describe Red Screen's confirmation email and the reminder about 30 days before a yearly renewal, say how to report a brand that does not honor a deal from Red Friday, and that only people 18 or older nominate or are nominated for The Red List. Revised again 2026-10-30 (the owner's last answers): a claim that goes to court is heard in Darlington County or the federal court in Florence, South Carolina, unless the law of your own state requires its own courts. Revised again 2026-10-30 (the 51-state survey): nothing in these terms limits a New Jersey consumer's rights under the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase U: before you subscribe to Red Screen you check a box to agree, in the words the page now uses. Revised again 2026-11-01: a short section introduces Muslim.Red Delivery and points to its own terms, refunds, restricted goods and certificate policies, and to the agreements vendors and drivers sign.
