What Muslim.Red Delivery carries
Muslim.Red Delivery is run by Muslim Red LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy is part of our Delivery Terms and of every vendor's agreement with us. Every item a vendor lists sits in a section of one of these kinds, and no other: meals, sides, catering trays, desserts, drinks, deli, bakery, sweets and nuts, produce, meat and poultry, seafood, dairy and eggs, pantry, spices, frozen, snacks, packaged drinks, household, personal care, baby, clothing, books, gifts, home, kitchen, toys, stationery and flowers. There is no section for alcohol, tobacco, medicine, weapons or fireworks, so there is nowhere to list them.
What is never sold
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Alcohol: beer, wine, spirits and the like | Michigan lets a delivery service carry alcohol only with a liquor license and a check that the customer is 21 or older. Muslim.Red carries none. |
| Tobacco, vapes and nicotine products, hookah and shisha | Michigan requires an age check of 21 before any sale, and a separate age check for sales at a distance. |
| Kratom | Its legal status in Michigan is changing. |
| Hemp THC, CBD and products like them | Federal and Michigan hemp law are changing. |
| Cannabis | Only businesses licensed by Michigan's Cannabis Regulatory Agency may deliver it. |
| Prescription drugs | Dispensing them is the practice of pharmacy, which needs a license. |
| Pseudoephedrine and ephedrine products | Their sale is limited by weight, with a photo ID and a check of a national log. |
| Weapons, ammunition and knives, tasers and pepper spray | Michigan bars or licenses many of them. |
| Fireworks | Michigan lets them be sold at a distance only when shipped or picked up from a licensed seller's own location. |
These are blocked whatever any setting of ours says. We may add to this list at any time; we do not take anything off it without changing this policy first.
Pork, as a store rule
As a store rule, Muslim.Red Delivery does not carry pork or pork products. This is our own choice about what we carry, and it says nothing about any vendor's food. An item whose words name pork is held for our team like any item above, while an everyday name that only names another meat, such as beef bacon or turkey ham, is not held.
How an item is checked
- Every time a vendor adds or changes an item, its name, description, section and choices are read against the words of each list above. Everyday names that only look like one, such as root beer, ginger beer or red wine vinegar, are not held.
- An item that matches waits for our team. It is never shown or sold while it waits, and the vendor is told, in plain words, which kind of item Muslim.Red does not carry.
- A person on our team then lets it through, when it is something else, or refuses it for good. Words our team let through are not held again; changed words are read again.
- A vendor who lists a restricted item, or changes an item's words to get around this policy, breaks its agreement with us, and we may take the item down, pause the vendor or end its agreement.
For customers
A held or refused item never appears in any list, menu, cart or order. If you see something on Muslim.Red Delivery you think this policy forbids, write to support@muslim.red.
