Who sells your ticket
Muslim.Red is run by Muslim Red LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are part of our Terms of Use.
Each event on Muslim.Red has an organizer: a masjid, a student association, a nonprofit, a business or a person who runs the event. Every organizer has its own Stripe account, which it owns outright. When you buy a ticket, you buy it from the organizer: the payment is made on the organizer's own Stripe account, and the charge and its receipt are the organizer's. The organizer runs the event and is responsible for it: the venue, the program, the rules at the door, and anything that happens there.
The price and our fee
- The organizer sets each ticket's price. Some events are free, and a free ticket carries no fee.
- Muslim.Red's fee is set by the kind of event, such as a festival, a dinner or a convention: a share of the ticket price, and for most kinds a small amount per ticket, added to the organizer's price. The event's page and our checkout page show the ticket price, our fee, how it is worked out and the total before you pay, and Stripe's page shows our fee again as its own line. Every price we show for a ticket, from the list of events to checkout, is the total with our fee included, and it comes before the ticket price and our fee shown separately. Tickets are general admission: no seats are assigned.
- Muslim.Red's fee is paid to us by Stripe from your payment; the rest is the organizer's.
- Where the law makes Muslim.Red collect sales tax or an admissions tax on a ticket or on our fee, we add it at checkout and show it before you pay. Otherwise the organizer, as the seller, is responsible for any tax its tickets owe.
Buying
- You buy tickets signed in with your Muslim Colors account, so your tickets are kept with it.
- At checkout you check a box to say you have read the event's rules and refund policy, and these terms, and agree to them. We keep which version of these terms you agreed to.
- You pay on Stripe's own checkout page. Card details are typed there and go to Stripe; they never pass through Muslim.Red.
- An event can sell out. Your tickets are yours once Stripe confirms your payment to us, usually within a minute.
At the door
- Each ticket has its own QR code. The organizer's team scans it at the door, and it works once.
- Keep your QR code to yourself: whoever shows it first is let in.
- The organizer may refuse entry to anyone who breaks the event's rules, and their ticket is not refunded unless the event's policy says so.
Refunds and cancellations
- Each event shows its refund policy before you pay, and refunds you ask for follow that policy. Our Refund Policy explains how to ask.
- If the organizer cancels the event, at any time before it ends, everyone with a ticket is refunded in full, whatever the policy.
- A refund comes from the organizer's Stripe account, for all you paid, and Muslim.Red's fee is refunded with it.
- A ticket already used at the door is not refunded by us, unless the organizer cancels the event.
- A payment in dispute with your bank is not refunded here: the bank's decision comes first.
Muslim.Red's fee is refunded only with a full refund or when the organizer cancels the event. If the organizer gives back part of what you paid from its own Stripe account, our fee is not refunded.
Each organizer chooses its event's refund policy from a short list, which includes no refunds, and the event shows it before you buy.
When an event changes
Once tickets are on sale, an event's date, time, venue and price do not change on Muslim.Red. If the organizer must change them, it cancels the event, everyone is refunded in full, and it lists the event again. If you cannot go, ask for a refund under the event's policy, or as the organizer offers.
Questions about a ticket
For questions about the event itself, write to the organizer, whose contact is on your order's page. For anything else, write to support@muslim.red.
Version history
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 0.1 | October 25, 2026 | First draft for attorney review. 0.1, revised: the company's name and mailbox are filled in. Revised again (2026-10-30): the open choices are settled: organizers choose refund policies from a short list, our fee comes back with a full refund or a canceled event, and tax is added at checkout where the law makes Muslim.Red collect it. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase L checked and built it, so the terms now say every ticket price we show is the total with our fee, shown before the itemized price, and that tickets are general admission. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase U: at checkout you check a box to agree, in the words the page now uses. |
