How a background check decision is made
Muslim.Red Delivery is run by Muslim Red LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Muslim.Red", "we", "us"). This is how we decide about a driver's background check, and the two notices we send. Our Background Check Disclosure and Background Check Authorization come first.
- A report that comes back "consider" decides nothing by itself. A person at Muslim.Red either clears it after a review or sends the pre-adverse notice below.
- The person sending the pre-adverse notice must write the reason for the driver, what in the report is weighed and why it matters for delivering, and add the agency's copy of the report.
- No final decision is made until at least 5 business days after the pre-adverse notice. The final notice is sent only after that wait, by a person who read anything the driver sent, with the reason written for the driver, and only once the agency's name, address and toll-free phone are on file.
- The copy of the report is never sent by email. The driver opens it, signed in, from their own notice page, through a link that works for 15 minutes, and every opening is recorded.
- The final decision ends the driver's access to deliver.
The pre-adverse notice
Sent by email from Muslim.Red, with the subject "Before Muslim.Red decides about your background check".
Hello [first name]. Muslim.Red may decide not to let you deliver through it, based in whole or in part on your background check report from [the consumer reporting agency's name]. Nothing is decided yet.
What a person at Muslim.Red is weighing, and why it matters for delivering: [the reason, written by the person at Muslim.Red].
Your copy of the report, and A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, are on your notice page. Sign in with your Muslim Colors account to open it. [A button: Open your notice.]
The summary of your rights is also here: A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act [a link to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's own copy].
If anything in the report is wrong or incomplete, or there is something you want us to know, tell us on your notice page. You may also dispute the report with the company that made it.
No decision is made before [the day and time the wait ends, Michigan time]. A person reads anything you send before deciding.
The final adverse action notice
Sent by email from Muslim.Red, with the subject "Muslim.Red's decision about your background check".
Hello [first name]. Muslim.Red has decided not to let you deliver through it, based in whole or in part on your background check report. Your access to drive has ended.
[The reason, written by the person at Muslim.Red after reading anything you sent.]
The background check company. The report came from: [the consumer reporting agency's name, address and toll-free phone].
That company made the report but did not make this decision, and it cannot tell you why the decision was made.
You have the right to a free copy of your report from that company if you ask it within 60 days, and the right to dispute with it anything in the report that is wrong or incomplete.
Your rights in full: A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act [a link to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's own copy].
If you want Muslim.Red to look again, write to us from your notice page. [A button: Open your notice.]
What we keep
We keep the agency's reference and the result of each check, the dates of each notice and of the decision, who at Muslim.Red decided, and the reasons written for the driver. The copy of the report is deleted if the check is cleared after review, and when the driver's account is deleted. After a final decision, the copy is kept for 2 years, then deleted. If no decision follows a notice, the copy is deleted 2 years after the notice.
Version history

|---|---|---|
| 0.1 | November 1, 2026 | First draft for attorney review, written from what Muslim.Red Delivery does and from research into Michigan law; every statement about what delivery does is tied to the code that does it.
