The short version

  • One account

You sign in with your Muslim Colors account. Muslim.Red never sees your password.

  • Reading is private

Reading Muslim.Red needs no account, and no advertising or tracking code runs on it. At checkout for tickets and deliveries, our payment processor's own code takes your card.

  • Your card goes to our payment processor

When you buy a ticket or pay for a delivery, your card details go to our payment processor. We never see them.

  • Delivery addresses stay sealed

Only the driver bringing your order sees your address, while it is on its way. The vendor sees your first name.

  • Inspectors stay anonymous

The people who rate places for The Red Table are known only to our team, and never shown anywhere.

  • We do not sell your information

Not to advertisers, not to anyone.

  • Leaving is simple

Delete your Muslim Colors account any time, and Muslim.Red removes your account here. Ticket records stay as records of the sale.

Who we are, and what this covers

Muslim.Red is run by Muslim Red LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). Muslim.Red is one site in seven sections: The Red Table, Red-Letter Days, The Red List, Muslim.Red Live, Red Friday, Red League and Red Screen. It also runs Muslim.Red Delivery, where local restaurants and shops sell for delivery. This notice explains what personal information Muslim.Red keeps, why, who can see it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

You sign in with your Muslim Colors account, the one sign-in shared by every Muslim.* site. The account's own pages hold your password, and Muslim.Red never sees it. Muslim.Red keeps a link to your account, with your email address and first name kept in step with it. The Muslim Colors account has its own Privacy Notice for what the account itself keeps.

What we keep, and why

When you just read

Reading Muslim.Red needs no account. Our pages load their code, styles, fonts and photos only from Muslim.Red itself, so no advertising, analytics or tracking code from any other company runs on them. The exceptions are checkout for tickets and checkout for delivery orders, where the code of our payment processor, Stripe, takes your card. Our payment processor also uses that code to help prevent fraud. Like every website, our servers see the network address and browser details each request comes with, to send you the page.

Tickets

When you buy a ticket, we keep your first name, your email address, the event, the tickets and their prices, Muslim.Red's fee, which version of the Ticket Terms you agreed to, and whether each ticket has been used at the door. You pay on our payment processor's own checkout page, into the event organizer's own account with it, so your card details go to the payment processor and never pass through Muslim.Red. The organizer sees your first name on its door list, and, as the seller, the email address you paid with in its own payment account, so it can run the event and answer you. Your ticket's QR code works once, at the door.

If you run events

If you run events on Muslim.Red, we keep the organizer's name and the contact address its ticket holders write to. The name is shown with its events, and ticket holders see the address on their order page and in our emails about their tickets, so they can ask the organizer about the event. We also give the address to our payment processor when the organizer opens its own account with it through Muslim.Red. When the organizer is one person, rather than a masjid, an association, a nonprofit or a business, these are that person's own name and address.

Places and reports

If you tell us a place's details have changed, we keep your report and, when you are signed in, that it came from you, so our team can follow up. If you claim a place as its owner, we keep your claim and the proof you send. The proof is seen only by our team, to decide the claim.

If you report a concern about a place, a person's page or an event, or ask us to take it down, we keep the reason you chose, the words you send and which listing it is about, and, when you are signed in, that it came from you. You may also give an email address, which a request to take a listing down needs. We use it only to write to you about that report, to tell you what our team decided. We delete it 30 days after our team decides your report. A report also reaches our team by email as soon as you send it (when many arrive in an hour, the rest wait on our team's desk instead), so our team's mailbox may hold a copy of it, with your address if you gave one. The emails we send about it are kept with our other emails, as the table below says.

Reviews and photos

If you write a diner review on The Red Table, we keep your words, the place and your account, and show the review under your first name. Our team reads every review before it shows, and a review we turn down is never shown. Our team may also take a shown review down later, and keeps the reason; it is never shown again. A diner review is shown apart from our rating and never changes it. If you send a photo, we keep a clean copy of it with your account: the location, camera and time hidden inside phone photos are removed before it is stored. We also keep smaller copies of that clean copy, for pages that show it small, and they are deleted with it. Photos are checked by our team before anyone else sees them. A photo our team takes down is also purged from Cloudflare's cache. We record who took a photo and the license it is shared under.

Nominations for The Red List

If you nominate someone for The Red List, we keep what you send with your account: the person's name, their city and state, their field, whether they are under 30 and that they will be 18 or older, how you know them, why you nominated them, and the links you give, and that you said you are 18 or older. Nominations are never published. Our team reads each one, and passes it to the panel or tells you why not on your own nominations page, which only you can see. The panel reads what you wrote and how you know the person, but not your name or your email address. To keep the form from being misused, we count the nominations that come from each account and each network address in a day, keeping the network address only in a scrambled form. Please leave out anyone's private details, such as a home address or phone number.

If you were nominated for The Red List

If our team passes a nomination of you to the panel, we keep your name, your city and state, your field, whether you are under 30 and whether you are 18 or older, and our team's few words about you for the panel. You need no account for this, and none of it is published unless the panel chooses you and the list comes out. If the panel does not choose you, your name, city, state and our team's words about you are removed 90 days after that year's list is published. The panel's record of how it decided stays, and may mention you. To ask what we keep about you, or to ask us to correct or remove it, see Your rights.

The Red List's panel

If you sit on The Red List's independent panel, we keep your seat, your conflict-of-interest declarations, your scores and what you write in the panel's record. Only the panel and our team can read them, and they are never published. If you delete your account, your seat ends and your name comes off what you wrote, which stays as the record of how the list was decided.

The people on Muslim.Red

Some pages are about people in public life: honorees, creators, athletes and league officials. Each of those pages shows where its facts come from, and our team reads it before it is published. A page about an honoree of The Red List is published with the list each January, never before. If a page is about you and something on it is wrong, write to us and we will look at it.

Our inspectors

The Red Table's inspectors are paid by us and visit places without saying who they are. An inspector's name, contact details and payment details are encrypted, known only to our team and the people who assign visits, and never shown on any page, list or export. For each visit, an inspector logs the day, the meal, their notes and the receipt; a photo of a receipt is kept only as a clean copy, in private storage that only our team and the people who assign visits can open. We pay every receipt back in full, to the cent, and keep a record of each payment back. No page, list, feed or share image shows who an inspector is, the city they are assigned to, or the days they visited. Our own records of what an inspector does in The Red Table name them by their inspector code, never by their account.

Prayer times on the home page and on Muslim.Red Live

Muslim.Red Live works out prayer times in your own browser. So does Muslim.Red's home page, for the next prayer where you are. Muslim.Red's home page and Muslim.Red Live ask your browser for your location only when you choose to use it, and you can say no. If you let your browser share it, the location is used on your device to work out the times, and is never sent to Muslim.Red. If you once chose to share it on the home page and your browser still allows it, the home page uses your location again when you come back, without asking, to show the next prayer. Your browser's settings can take that permission back at any time. While a Muslim.Red Live page is open, it asks Muslim.Red now and then for new moon reports and sponsors without sending any cookie, and every reader gets the same answer.

The Eid prayer finder

The Eid prayer finder on Red-Letter Days asks your browser for your location only when you tap "Use my location", and you can say no. Your location, or a ZIP code you type, stays on your device: the page asks Muslim.Red only for the list of Eid prayers in the wide area around it (about 70 miles across), the same list for everyone in that area, and for a ZIP code, the file of every ZIP code that starts with the same two digits. The page's script never sends the form, even when it cannot load a list; it tells you instead and points you to the city pages. Only if your browser does not run the script is a ZIP code you type sent with the form, in the page's address. Muslim.Red uses it only to move you to the list for the wide area around it (about 70 miles across), a page that is the same for everyone in that area and does not carry your ZIP code. Muslim.Red does not save the ZIP code, but like any page address it can appear in the request logs of our web server and our network provider, and our network provider may keep that move for up to 30 days for anyone who types the same ZIP code. The page you land on says so.

Events near you

The events list's "Near me", and "Use my location" under "Events near you", ask your browser for your location only when you choose them, and you can say no. It picks the nearest city with events on your device, and your location is never sent: only that city, when you show its events, as choosing a city would. Under "Events near you", that city's events open at once, and it becomes the city you chose. Under "Events near you" you can type a ZIP code instead. It is sent to Muslim.Red with the form, in the page's address, only to find the city with events nearest to it, and we move you to that city's events, whose address does not carry it. We do not save it, but like any page address it can appear in our web server's and Cloudflare's request logs, and Cloudflare may keep the move from that ZIP code for up to five minutes, for anyone who types the same one.

Brands on Red Friday

If you list a brand on Red Friday, we keep what you send with your account: the brand's name, website, what it makes or sells, its kind and city, and your ownership statement, with its exact words and version, the name you typed to sign it, your role at the business, and when you signed. Once our team approves the brand, its details are public, with the statement's words and your role, but never your name. Our team sees your name and your account's email address, to check the brand. We email you our team's decision about your brand and each of its deals.

If you report a problem with a brand or a deal, we keep what kind of problem it is, the words you send, the brand and the deal, and, if you were signed in, your account, so our team can follow up.

A deal's link takes you straight to the brand's own site, or through the brand's referral program where the link says so. Muslim.Red does not record which links you follow, but the brand or its referral program may record that you came from Muslim.Red.

Red Screen

If you subscribe to Red Screen, we keep your plan, its price, whether it is active, when its period ends, whether it renews, and our payment processor's numbers for you and your subscription. We email you a confirmation when you subscribe and, on the yearly plan, a reminder before each renewal, and we note when we sent each. You pay on our payment processor's own page, into Muslim.Red's own account with it, so your card details go to the payment processor and never pass through Muslim.Red. To make your customer record there, we give it your email address. The name and address you type on its page go to it, and its tax service works out sales tax from that address. Red Screen renews each month or each year, as you chose, until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account page. We also keep a record of each payment, each failed payment and each refund for your subscription, from our payment processor's notices to us: the amounts, the sales tax inside them, the dates and your plan.

If you add a kids profile, we keep the name you give it. If you set a PIN, we keep it only as a scrambled hash that cannot be read back. Red Screen keeps no viewing history: we count how many times each title starts each day, without recording who.

Red League

When a team's manager adds a player to a Red League roster, we keep the player's first and last name, birth year, whether they are under 18, and the email address the invitation goes to: the player's own, or a parent's or guardian's for a player under 18. The player is on the roster only once they agree, or once a parent or guardian agrees for a player under 18, signed in with the Muslim Colors account that uses the address the invitation went to. We keep that they agreed, when, with which account, and the words they agreed to. Once the invitation is answered, we no longer keep its address, and an invitation nobody answers is deleted, with the names it held, 30 days after its link stops working.

In public, a player is named only as they, or their parent or guardian, chose: not at all, by first name and last initial, or, for an adult only, by full name. A player under 18 is never shown by full name, and Red League keeps no player's photo. A player under 18 whose parent or guardian is the team's own manager, or the person who invited them, is not named in public at all, and the league sees who agreed. On a national finals team, which plays with its league team's roster, players are counted but never named. A player's last name and birth year, and the invitation's address, are seen only by the team's manager, the league's organizers and our team.

When you register a team, we keep its name, the masjid on Muslim.Blue or the MSA it plays for, and that you manage it. A masjid's name and city are read from its public page on Muslim.Blue, and nothing about you is sent to Muslim.Blue. You pay a registration fee on our payment processor's own page, into the league organizer's own account with it, so your card details go to the payment processor and never pass through Muslim.Red. We keep the amounts, Muslim.Red's fee, the email address you paid with, and which version of our Terms of Use you agreed to.

When a league asks you to be one of its officials, we email the address of your Muslim Colors account, and you are its official only once you agree; the league's page does not tell it whether an address has an account. A league's officials are known to the league by the name it keeps for them. A game's public page shows its officials by their role, and by name only where we have published a profile of them with its sources; never their contact details. While a Red League game is being played, its page asks Muslim.Red for the score now and then without sending any cookie, and every reader gets the same answer.

Delivery orders

When you order on Muslim.Red Delivery, we keep the order with your account: the vendor, the items and the choices you made, their prices, the sales tax, the delivery fee, the service fee, your tip, any credit used, the total, the order's status and times, and any refund. We keep your first name on it, and your delivery address, unit, notes, the phone number you give and whether you chose contactless, sealed. You pay through our payment processor's card form, into Muslim.Red's own account with it, so your card details go to the payment processor and never pass through Muslim.Red. We keep with each order the version of the Delivery Terms you agreed to at checkout.

When you give a delivery address, we send it to the US Census Bureau's public geocoder to find where it is on the map. We send it for nothing else. We keep the point it gives back for up to a week so a second search is quick, under a code made from the address, never the address itself. To price a delivery and estimate its drive, we send our routing service, Mapbox, the trip's two points, the vendor's and the drop-off's, as map coordinates, and nothing else about you. We keep its answer, the distance and the time, for up to a week under a code made from the points. The list of vendors that opens carries only a rounded map point (about a city block), never the address. "Use my location" asks your browser only when you tap it, and sends the point rounded the same way, once. If you set a pin on your door at checkout, it is kept sealed with your drop-off, in place of the address's own point.

The vendor sees your first name, your order and your notes for it, never your address. The driver bringing your order sees your first name, address, unit, notes, phone number and whether you chose contactless, only while the delivery is under way. The driver may take a photo of your order where it was left, which only our team sees. While your order is on its way, and only then, its page shows about where your driver is (within about 500 meters), and the exact point once the driver is within about 800 meters of your door. When the order is delivered the map goes. You see your driver's first name only.

If you rate an order, we keep your stars and your words, which go to the vendor and to Muslim.Red only. If you tell us something is wrong, or report a vendor's certificate, we keep what you send, so our team can answer. Our answer goes by email to your account's address, and is kept with your report. If you have Muslim.Red credit, we keep its amount, where it came from and when it runs out. Our Location Data policy says more about locations in delivery.

Telling you when Delivery opens

If you ask us to tell you when Delivery opens, we keep your email address, your ZIP code if you give one, and when you asked, when you confirmed and when we sent the email. We keep no account, name or network address with it. To limit abuse, a keyed code made from your network address is held for an hour, and one made from your email address for a day, never the address itself. We use the address only to send you a link to confirm it and, once, an email when Delivery opens. An address that is not confirmed in 7 days is deleted. Both emails carry a link that deletes your address at once, and we delete it 30 days after we send the opening email. Our team sees only how many people are waiting, by ZIP code, never the addresses. A copy of each email we send is kept for 90 days, as the table below says, and so is not part of the list that is deleted sooner.

If you sell through Muslim.Red Delivery

For a business that sells through Muslim.Red Delivery, we keep its name, its legal name, its address, phone number and email address, its description, its hours, its menu or catalog and its own photos, and who acts for it (its owner, managers and staff) with their accounts. Its name, address, phone number, hours, description, menu and photos are public once it is live; its legal name and email address are not. We keep each agreement the owner signed: the version, a fingerprint of its words, the name and role they typed, when it was shown and signed, and a scrambled form of the network address, never the address itself. We keep its licenses (numbers, dates and a photo of each), its certificates with their history and the attestations signed for them, and a statement for every order. Payouts go to the business's own account with our payment processor, which hosts its sign-up and identity checks, so the details asked there go to the payment processor.

If you use the vendor app or the driver app and allow notifications, the app gives us your phone's own push token, kept with your account, removed when you sign out of the app and when your account is deleted. Notifications go through Apple's or Google's push service. Their words carry an order's code, how many items and the total, a business's name and street, or a driver's pay, never a customer's name, address or phone. Customers on the web get no push notifications.

If you drive for Muslim.Red Delivery

If you drive, we keep your first name, which customers and vendors see, and the link to your account. We keep your driver's license, vehicle registration and auto insurance: each one's number sealed, with only its last four in the clear, the state, the dates, the details you give and a photo of it, and that you confirmed you read your policy. We keep the agreements you signed (the contractor agreement, and the background check disclosure and authorization, each a document of its own), as for vendors above.

When you join, you give your date of birth, the one on your driver's license, so we can check you are at least 21. We keep it sealed, for our team to check against your license, and never show it to customers or vendors. If you are younger, we do not keep the date; if you are under 18, your Muslim Colors account is marked as belonging to someone under 18 until your 18th birthday, never with the date itself. If our team writes you a warning, or ends your access, we keep what it wrote and when, with your driver record.

For your background check we keep the background check company's reference and the result, never the report itself. If a result may count against you, a person at Muslim.Red writes to you first, with a copy of the report kept privately for you to open from your notice page, signed in, and every opening is recorded. The copy is deleted if the result is cleared, and when your account is deleted.

We use your location only while you are online or on a delivery. Each point is kept sealed, with the delivery it belongs to, and deleted after 30 days. Your live position passes through our own dispatch service, which drops it when you go offline with no delivery, deletes an order's position the moment the order ends, and sends positions nowhere but Muslim.Red. Opening directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps is your choice: the maps app is given the place to go, and uses your location under its own privacy notice. We keep each offer made to you and your answer, your deliveries, and your earnings, with the pay and the tip on separate lines. Your pay goes to your own account with our payment processor, which hosts its sign-up and identity checks.

You may send a live link to a delivery under way to someone you choose. Whoever holds it sees, without signing in, your first name, where the delivery is in words, and about where you are, the middle of a square about 500 meters across, never nearer, until the delivery ends, you stop sharing or make a new link, or 180 minutes pass. We keep only a scrambled form of the link, for 2 days, and it goes with your driver account.

Cookies

  • When you sign in, WordPress sets its sign-in cookies to keep you signed in. They last until you close your browser, and never more than two days.
  • One small cookie of our own ties a sign-in under way to your browser, so it cannot be finished in another browser. It also lasts until you close your browser.
  • If you choose a Red Screen kids profile on a device, one cookie of ours remembers it on that browser, for up to a year, even when no one is signed in. It holds your account's number, the profile's number and a signature, nothing else.
  • Muslim.Red sets no advertising or tracking cookies. At ticket checkout you go on to our payment processor's own page, where it may set its own cookies, which it uses to help prevent fraud.
  • At delivery checkout, our payment processor's card form sits inside the page, and it may set its own cookies, which it uses to help prevent fraud.

Some pages remember a choice in your browser's own storage, not in a cookie: on Muslim.Red Live, the city you last chose or opened (only its short name; the home page reads it too, to link that city's times) and the prayer time method you chose; on the home page, that you once chose to share your location there (a yes, never the location itself); and on the events list, the city you last chose. Live's choices and the home page's yes stay on your device and are never sent to Muslim.Red. The events list uses the city it remembers to open that city's events when you come back, or choose "Find events near you", as choosing the city again would, and showing "Every city" forgets it. On Muslim.Red Delivery, the address you type stays in that browser tab, so checkout can fill it in, and is gone when you close the tab. These choices go when you clear your browser's data for Muslim.Red.

Who sees your information

  • Event organizers see the first name on each order at their own events' door, and, in their own payment account, the email address each buyer paid with.
  • League organizers and team managers see the rosters of their own teams: each player's name and birth year, and where their invitation stands. A league's organizer also sees, in its own payment account, the email address each team's fee was paid with.
  • Delivery vendors see the first name, order and notes of each customer who orders from them, never an address, and the first name of the driver who picks the order up.
  • The driver bringing your order sees your first name, your address, unit, notes and phone number while the delivery is under way.
  • The Red List's panelreads the nominations our team passes on, without the name of the person who sent each one.
  • Our team, when running Muslim.Red, checking photos, reports and claims, or helping you.
  • The public sees only what you choose to make public, such as a review under your first name.
  • Our service providers, described below, for their part of the work only.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Nobody outside our team can list the accounts on Muslim.Red: WordPress's own user lists answer only to people who may manage users. We do not sell your personal information.

EastCoastMuslim.com receives a copy of The Red Table's published ratings and of Muslim.Red's own public events, to list them. That copy carries nothing about the people who read Muslim.Red, buy tickets or rate places.

We do not sell or share your personal information, as state privacy laws define those words, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. Because we do not, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals from your browser have nothing to turn off on Muslim.Red. If that ever changed, we would honor Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out.

How long we keep it

How long we keep each kind of information
InformationHow long
Your account link, email address and first nameUntil your Muslim Colors account is deleted. When you ask to delete it, Muslim.Red is told and signs you out. When the deletion is final, at the end of the account's 7-day undo window, Muslim.Red removes your account here, with your email address and first name. Everything else about you goes with it, except what this table says is kept longer.
Copies of emails we send90 days, then deleted.
Tickets and their paymentsKept as the organizer's and our records of the sale after you delete your account, without your name or email address and no longer tied to it, for 7 years after the sale, or after a later refund on it, then deleted.
An event organizer's name and contact addressKept while the organizer is on Muslim.Red, with no set limit, even after the account of the person who runs it is deleted or asks us to erase that address, because ticket holders write to it about the event and their tickets. When the organizer is one person, that is their own name and address. To change it or have it removed, write to us.
What you did for an event organizer or a leagueThe events you made or canceled and the tickets you checked in at the door stay as the organizer's records, no longer naming your account once it is deleted. So do the seasons, games, scores and brackets you made for a league, the masjids you confirmed for its teams, the players you added to a roster, and the officials you added or assigned.
Our payment processor's notices to us about payments (tickets, registration fees and Red Screen)Kept encrypted for 90 days after they arrive, then deleted. One we have not finished handling stays until we have. They can carry the name, email address and billing address you gave our payment processor.
The proof sent with a claim to a placeUntil the claim is decided, then deleted.
The email address you give with a reportDeleted 30 days after our team decides the report. A report not yet decided keeps it.
Reports you send about places, people and events, and claims you send about placesKept for our team after you delete your account, no longer tied to it. A report keeps the words you sent about the listing. A claim keeps only what was decided: the role, phone number and note you gave are removed.
Nominations for The Red ListUntil 90 days after that year's list is published, then deleted. They go sooner if you delete your account.
People nominated for The Red ListFor someone the panel does not choose: until 90 days after that year's list is published, then the name, city, state, our team's words and any consent note are removed. For an honoree: kept with the published list.
The Red List panel's declarations, scores and recordKept as the record of how each list was decided, with no set limit. A panelist's name comes off when their account is deleted.
Diner reviews on The Red TableUntil your Muslim Colors account is deleted, then deleted with it. A review turned down or taken down is never shown again.
An inspector's visits, receipts and payments backKept as our records of what was paid and paid back. When an inspector's account is deleted, the photos of their receipts are deleted, and the amounts stay without their name. These payment records are kept for 7 years after each payment back, then deleted, with the receipt and its photo. If a receipt of theirs is still waiting to be paid back then, we keep a record that it is still owed.
A brand you list on Red FridayA brand that was never listed goes when you delete your account, with its statement and deals. A brand that was ever listed stays, with no owner: a listed brand as the business's listing until our team takes it down, and one later withdrawn or taken down as our record of what it stated while it was listed. Its statement keeps its words, version and role without your name or your account.
Red ScreenWhen you delete your account, Red Screen is canceled at once, and your kids profiles, your PIN and your renewal choice are deleted. The record of the subscription (the plan, its dates, its status and our payment processor's numbers for it) stays as our record of the sale, for 7 years after the subscription ends, then deleted. Our record of each payment and refund also stays, with your account no longer named on it, for 7 years after the payment, then deleted. A payment and its refunds are deleted together, 7 years after the last of them. Our link between your account and your customer record at our payment processor is deleted with your account. Our payment processor keeps its own records of your payments under its own terms, which may be needed for a refund or for tax.
Red League rostersUntil the player, or the parent or guardian who agreed, takes consent back, or the team or league takes the player off: then the name, birth year and account are removed at once. The same happens when the account that agreed is deleted.
Red League registration feesKept as the league's and our records of the payment after you delete your account, without your email address and no longer tied to it, for 7 years after the payment, or after a later refund on it, then deleted.
Delivery orders and their paymentsKept as the vendor's and our records of the sale for 7 years after the order last changed, then deleted, with its lines, refunds, payments and payouts, offers, rating and reports. When you delete your account, your orders stay as those records without your account, your first name, your address or your notes, and an order not yet charged ends with nothing charged.
Your delivery cart, credit and ratingsDeleted with your account. Problems you reported and certificate reports stay for our team, without your words or your account.
A driver's documents and locationLocation points: 30 days, then deleted. Your documents and their photos, your points and any copy of a background check report are deleted with your account, and your driver account ends.
Background check resultsThe company's reference and the result stay with your driver record. A copy of a report given with a notice is deleted if the result is cleared. After a final decision, the copy is kept for 2 years, then deleted, or 2 years after the notice when no decision followed.
Delivery agreements, certificates and attestationsKept as proof of what was agreed and stated, with the name typed, after the account that signed is deleted. Deleted 7 years after the vendor's or the driver's agreement ends: when a business closes or its application is turned down, or a driver's access ends or their account is deleted.
Drop-off photosKept with the order, and seen only by our team. Deleted 180 days after the delivery, unless a report about the order is still open, and then once it closes.
A driver's date of birth, warnings and share linksThe date of birth, kept sealed, and the words of any warning are deleted with your account. A live share link's scrambled form: 2 days.
Your email for the Delivery opening listUntil you take it off the list, deleted 7 days after you ask if it is not confirmed, and 30 days after we send the opening email.
Push tokens of the vendor and driver appsUntil you sign out of the app, or your account is deleted.
Our dispatch service's copy of an orderThe live position goes the moment the order ends, and the rest of the service's copy goes 48 hours later.
Our team's records of its own workIf you work on Muslim.Red's team, our records of what you did for us keep your account number after your account is deleted, with no set limit: such as who added a place, an organizer, a league or a person's page, who assigned a visit or recorded a payment back, who approved a photo, and who decided a review, a report, a claim or a nomination. For delivery, they also keep who approved a vendor or a driver, checked a license or a document, decided a held item, a certificate or a report, gave a refund or credit, closed a problem report, or decided a background check; the team's notes on a case, which are never shown to the person; and who opened a kept file, such as a license, a certificate, a driver's document, a report or a drop-off photo.
Reports you send about Red Friday brands and dealsKept for our team after you delete your account, no longer tied to it.
The audit log1 year, then deleted, except the entries that prove what someone agreed to, which are kept for 7 years after their account ends. It records what changed and which account changed it, with a scrambled form of the network address.

Where a row above gives a period, the record is deleted when that period ends.

Your rights

You may ask us what we keep about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@muslim.red. To get a copy of what Muslim.Red keeps about you, you can also ask from your account page. Our team reviews the request and emails you a link to download your copy, which works for 3 days. Your copy includes your delivery orders, cart, ratings, reports and credit, the delivery agreements you signed, the vendors you act for and your driver account. A delivery address and a driver's document numbers are kept sealed and are not in it. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If your state has a privacy law

Some states give their residents rights over their personal information by law. If you live in one of them, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and what we do with it, to correct it, to delete it, and to get a copy of it in a form you can take elsewhere. To use these rights, write to privacy@muslim.red.

  • We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, as the law allows, we tell you why within those 45 days.
  • Before we act, we may ask you to confirm that the request is yours, for example by writing from your Muslim Colors account's email address.
  • Someone you authorize may ask for you. We may ask for proof that you authorized them, and ask you to confirm that it is you.
  • If we say no, we tell you why. You can appeal by replying to our answer, or by writing to privacy@muslim.red with "Appeal" in the subject. We answer an appeal within the time your state's law sets, and if we still say no, we tell you how to reach your state's attorney general.

Children

Muslim Colors accounts are for people 13 and over. Apart from Red League rosters, Muslim.Red does not knowingly keep information about children under 13. A player under 18 joins a Red League roster only when a parent or guardian agrees, with their own Muslim Colors account, and the player needs no account of their own. Only people 18 or older are named on The Red List, and only members 18 or older may nominate.

Muslim.Red does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

How we protect it

  • Photos and articles sit in private storage. A photo our team approved is shown from Muslim.Red's own address: our server reads it from that storage, only while it is approved, at an address only our pages give out. Anything else in storage is reached only through links that expire within minutes.
  • Our software never changes an entry in the audit log, and deletes one only when its period ends.

No system is perfectly secure. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Version history

VersionDateWhat changed
0.1October 25, 2026First draft for attorney review. A short section says that Muslim.Red puts none of your information into AI tools. 0.1, revised: the company's name, mailing address and mailbox are filled in. 0.1, revised 2026-10-29: the restaurant section is now called The Red Table. Revised again (2026-10-30): the open choices are settled: our providers are named by kind, records have set periods, and new parts cover state privacy rights, browser privacy signals, children, and the promise to update the AI tools section before anything changes. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase L built the deletions, so the notice now claims the 7-year periods for tickets, fees, Red Screen and inspectors' payments and the audit log's periods, and describes Red Screen's emails and reports about Red Friday brands and deals, and says that only adults nominate or are named on The Red List. Revised again 2026-10-30 (Phase L follow-ups): Red's own proof of agreement is kept 7 years after an account ends, and you can ask for a copy from your account page. Revised again 2026-10-30: Phase U: the home page works out the next prayer on your device, as Muslim.Red Live does, and never sends your location; the notice names what some pages remember in your browser's own storage (the cities you chose, your prayer time method, and that you once shared your location on the home page); and the events list's "Near me" picks the nearest city on your device and sends only that city. Phase U final round: photos now load from Muslim.Red's own address in smaller copies that are deleted with the photo and purged from Cloudflare's cache when taken down; the events list's "Events near you" opens the nearest city at once, and a ZIP code typed there is sent to Muslim.Red in the page's address only to find that city, may appear in request logs, and may be kept by Cloudflare for up to five minutes; and the home page reads the city Live remembers. Revised again 2026-11-01 (Muslim.Red Delivery): what an order keeps and who sees it (the vendor sees your first name, the driver your address only while the delivery is under way), the delivery address sent to the US Census Bureau's geocoder and the rounded point, the driver's position on the order page, what vendors and drivers give us (documents sealed, the background check's result but never the report), drivers' location only while online or delivering and kept 30 days, our own dispatch service, delivery checkout's card form and the browser tab, the export, our team's delivery records, and how long each is kept. Revised 2026-11-01 (RD-Y): the periods for a background check report's copy (2 years), delivery proof of agreement (7 years after the agreement ends) and drop-off photos (180 days) are stated; the Delivery Terms' version kept with each order, the drop-off pin, a driver's date of birth, warnings and live share link, and the delivery apps' push notifications are added. Revised 2026-11-01: a delivery's two route points go to Mapbox, a routing service, to measure its driving distance and time.
