The honoree kit
For the people named to The Red List: a badge, a share card, a few words to post, and how to credit a photo.
Congratulations. Everything here is free for you to use to share the news. Your own kit, with your name, your year and your field, is linked from your profile.
The badge
Use it as it is: please do not change its colors or words, or put it on anything for sale.
Your share card
Each honoree's kit carries their own share card, 1200 by 630: their name, the year and their place on the list, with their initials, or their photo once our team approves one. Post it with the link to the list.
A few words to post
I am grateful and honored to be named to The [year] Red List, in [your field]. The Red List comes out each January. Its honorees are chosen by an independent panel from nominations by Muslim.Red's members, and a place on it is never for sale. Thank you to the panel, and congratulations to everyone on this year's list. [the link to the list]
Fill in the year and your field, or copy your own words from your kit, where they are filled in. Change anything you like: they are yours.
Photos and credit
- Until our team approves a photo of you, your profile and your share card show your initials, never a drawing of a person.
- To add a portrait, send it with "Send a photo for your profile" in your own kit, signed in with your free Muslim Colors account: a JPEG, PNG or WebP under 8 MB, with a few words on what it shows for people who cannot see it.
- It must be yours, or yours to share: you took it, or the person who took it agreed. You confirm this when you send it.
- Give the name to credit. If the photo is shown, that name is shown with it.
- Our team looks at every photo before anyone else sees it. If it is not approved, you see why, and it is deleted.
- We keep a clean copy only: the location, camera and time hidden inside phone photos are removed.
- When you post the share card or the badge with a photo of your own, credit the person who took it, the same way.
